Wanted Man – On The Trail of Johnny Cash.

The Man in Black touched the lives of people all over the world, and M. SOUL connects with Cash fans of all ages wherever he performs. His own musical journey has been deeply influenced by Johnny Cash’s songs and spirit.

As a child, he was captivated by Cash’s voice and stories — songs like A Boy Named Sue and tales of a turbulent, passionate life. In 2003, M. SOUL formed a band with one goal: to pay tribute to the legendary body of work of Johnny Cash.

That same year, sadly, Johnny Cash passed away. Since then, M. SOUL has performed more than 300 Wanted Man shows across North America, celebrating Cash’s enduring legacy.

From Ring of Fire to Folsom Prison Blues, the show takes audiences back to the first time they heard Cash’s deep baritone roll across the airwaves.

Now based in Strasbourg, France, M. SOUL continues his tribute with a new band and a growing following across Europe. Wanted Man has made M. SOUL a recognized figure in the French Country and Americana scene.

He has been nominated by the Country Music Association of France as Male Vocalist of the Year and for Album of the Year with Don’t Take Your Guns to Town — a 16-track album recorded live off the floor, featuring songs originally written or recorded by Johnny Cash himself.

Wanted Man – On The Trail of Johnny Cash is a heartfelt and powerful celebration of the Man in Black. The show opens with the outlaw energy of Cash’s early hits and follows his journey through the decades — from the raw Sun Records days to his reign as the King of Country Music.

When June Carter enters the stage, the show becomes a tribute to their lifelong love through a series of five duets — including Jackson. June then takes the audience back to the 1920s, honoring the legacy of The Carter Family, pioneers of country music.

Wanted Man’s five-voice gospel harmonies lift the audience to a soulful Arkansas Sunday morning. The unplugged segment brings a moving simplicity to Cash’s final works, leaving the audience spellbound.

The show reaches a climactic medley spanning fifty years of Cash’s career — a hand-clapping, toe-tapping celebration of a true American original.
